Logistics Broker

Ultra Logistics, a leader in domestic truckload transportation and carrier management, is looking for qualified and ambitious individuals to become a part of a growing team.

Now, sales experience is required, but you do not need prior experience working at a brokerage firm.

You do not need your own customers, we provide you with the customers, and you simply find and build relationships with carriers to reliably transport our customers' freight.

What we need from you!

You will need phone skills and not just the ability say "Hello" and "Good-bye", but the ability to be a negotiator, counselor, and a human lie detector, as needed.

We value and need our customers, but without reliable and honest carriers, let's face it, we would have to hand carry our customers freight and our customers definitely don't want that, and most of us don't want it either.

You need to have the ability to sell, but not just give out a price and haggle, but actually close the sale and get results. If you are motivated and have confidence that you can strive in a extremely fast paced environment, then we need you!

What we offer you!

Be a part of a close knit team. We work hard, but we know how to have fun too!

You will always be learning, and the skills you learn from us translate to great lucrative careers in the future. This is a great entry level position, as having prior experience is great, but not required!

We offer a very competitive salary, PTO, medical benefits, monthly goal-based bonuses, and the most important meal of the day - Breakfast - is provided. Oh and unlimited coffee, please drink responsibly.

If you think you have what it takes and would like be a part of an industry that moves the world - literally - send in your resume to

No prior experience is required, as we will train you from day one. You will learn to build, maintain, and manage our carrier database. Provide our existing carriers with continuous business and build lasting connections.

What we need from you!

The ability to follow directions, confidence, basic data entry skills, ability to learn quickly, and most importantly be able to manage your time and follow-up with your contacts.

You will also need to be comfortable on the phone, as much as we would love to visit all of our 20,000+ carriers all over the United States, it's just not feasible. So we use technology to reach out. Phone, e-mail, and social media.

Our dispatch department needs more rapid-fire keyboard users who have the knack for getting answers, catching mistakes, correcting mistakes, and someone who has a lot of respect for the quality of their work!

It is not an easy shoe to step into, but the rewards are plentiful!

Prior experience is required. We need someone who knows their way around a 48/53 foot dry van, reefer, flatbed, conestoga, etc. . . If you have at least 3-5 years of experience working as dispatcher for a national brand, and can recite all 50 States by heart, then we would love to meet you. With that being said, you will also need to be comfortable on the phone, though we have a lot advance tech, the phone is still our greatest tool!

Also, you will need to have experience with using MacroPoint, Fourkites, Microsoft Office, Mile Maker, PC Miler, Truckers Tools, the dreaded Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax machine combo, and will need to harness the power of the internet.

It also helps if you have prior Transportation Management System (TMS) experience. SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, Aljex Software, or any of the top brokerage software.

Our Customer Service Department needs your help.

If you are fast paced, are able to meet deadlines, and are a fast and accurate typist; we have a place for you!

Prior experience is required. However, the experience does not need to be from a logistic brokerage. You will have to learn the lingo, speak with logistic experts on a daily basis, and be able read your customers mind. Well maybe not the last part, but you will need to provide them with the best service, and sometimes that requires knowing what they need before they know that they need it.

We do require all of our customer-facing staff members to be computer savvy and have full mastery of the English Language. Multilingualism helps A LOT. You will be working with Fortune 500 companies every day, and for that very reason to be successful in your tasks you will need to be pleasent, professional, and sharp.

It also helps if you have prior Transportation Management System (TMS) experience. SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, Aljex Software, or any of the top brokerage software that exists.

You will be working with EDI Communications on a daily basis, so having prior experience with EDI codes, tenders, protocols, and error troubleshooting is preferred. However, that can be substituted with prior IT related experience.
